Friends

Thanks to everyone that is either a follower, leaves a comment, or sends me emails. I have heard from many that it is hard to be a follower or to leave comments, but please keep trying.

Rebekah left yesterday. I had such a good time with her.

Before Rebekah left we had brunch with an Alpha Phi she knew at Tech. I was excited to meet Leigh Ann and she is darling, both in looks and personality. Leigh Ann lives in Brooklyn and is going back to school to study how to do sonograms. Good for her, she didn't like what she was doing so she is going back to school and doing it while she is still young. Leigh Ann and I plan to do some exploring together in the next couple of weeks.

Jules has requested photos of food, so some of those will be coming. I have had some of the best and most creative salads, but didn't always take photos so I will try to do better.

The photos are:

Leigh Ann and Rebekah

A salad I had on my first day - it was called a boxed salad for 2 - I had no idea it actually came in a pizza box - it was easy to take the leftovers home

Black truffle Mac & Cheese - good, but couldn't hold a candle to what I make - not often can I say that (I never should have given my trainers the addy to this blog as hell will be paid in June!)

  1. Since you're taking requests, how about that NY pizza I always hear about? I presume they just call it pizza there haha :)

As for the trainers and your diet, no worries. Gluttony every so often is good for the system. Kinda like changing your workout routine. ;)

  2. I don't know if I can handle all of the food pictures. Really makes my mouth water! One of the best parts of New York is eating. I love the Italian food. I need to make a trip just to eat!

Nice to see familiar faces in the pictures but makes me feel so old! I remember when they were bouncing around the lodge in Lubbock.

I'm glad you're making New York friends. Get someone to take a picture of you. You need to document that you're really there!

Oh, and Scott--they call it "pie" here for some reason. This TX girl still and always will call it pizza. Because that's what it is! =)
