Fashion and Food

Wow! What a day! Rebekah and I had a full day! We started the day with a trip to Serendipity for lunch and topped it off with a frozen hot chocolate. I had wanted to go there the last time I was in town, but you have to have reservations or plan on camping out. Luckily, Rebekah made reservations for us.

Then we were off to the Met for the Alexander McQueen exhibit. He is deceased, but it is his design house that created Kate Middleton's wedding dress. His designs and the ideas for his fashion shows were nothing short of mind blowing.

Finally, we had to be at Rockefeller Center for the taping of the Jimmy Kimmel show. While we were waiting to get in line, we met a cute, young, friendly couple. Don't you know they were from Lubbock! Jimmy's guests were Edie Falco, Carmello Anthony, and Michael Symon.

The day wasn't over as it had been a couple of hours since we had last eaten. I took Rebekah to the Upper East End Bar for a beer and a Texas Tech burger.
