Kim & I took the commuter train from Maynooth to Dublin this morning.
Our hop on & off bus tour in Dublin became the roll on & off bus tour. We first took the Guiness tour with tasting and later the Jameson Whiskey tour with tasting and test tasting. While we thought the Jameson tour was better, the Guiness tour had a tasting bar on the 7th floor with a panoramic view of the city. While we would like everyone to think we can handle our liquor, after about 1 inch of beer was consumed.....we were both lightheaded. Although not too lightheaded as we managed to crawl our way to the Jameson Whiskey tour. I boldly volunteered to do a taste testing of 3 whiskeys. The 3 were Johnny Walker, Jameson, and Jack Daniels.
Had lunch at Ryan's Bar which is one of Dublin's oldest pubs. It was built in 1896 and we sat at the same bar as JFK, Bill Clinton, and George Bush, Sr.

Two bold steps for you, Guiness beer and whiskey taste testing! Hopefully there was an elevator to the 7th floor and you didn't have to stumble down :-) It looks like you are having so much fun!
