Bring on Brussels...

Today we took the hop-on bus to the Atomium. It is a survivor of the 1958 World's Fair. It is a symbol of the atomic age, representing a molecule of iron crystal enlarged 165 billion times. It consists of 9 spheres which you are able to move from one to another. The picture taken from up high is taken from the highest sphere.

Our next stop was Mini-Europe. All the countries in the European Union are represented by miniature models of buildings. The weather was fabulous!

Who knew that a Belgian Waffle is truly something sold in Belgium? We had lunch at 2 food trucks - first course was a waffle with chocolate and the second course was sausage. Yes, in that order!

Off to Luxembourg tomorrow!

Pictures are:

  2. Thanks for including food porn - you know how much I enjoy it! Those miniatures are so detailed! The best thing is seeing a photo of your sweet smiling face!
